The Department of Bio & Healing Convergence is designed to help recover mental and physical health as well as social activities by improving physical, social, mental or coginitive functions of human beings. In addition to animal and plant related sectors, we provide professional education through interdisciplinary edcuation and research between the fields of medicine and sociology, and offer opportunities for various clinical practices with horticulture therapy, animal-assisted therapy, forest therapy, counseling psychology, social welfare, pedagogy, kinematics, rehabilitation medicine and psychiatry.

As the demand for the wellness industry increases, the social demand for professional human resources including horiculture therapy, animal-assisted therapy, forest therapy, which are eco-friendly complemenatary alternative medicine using life, is growing. Therefore, we would like to foster biohealing convergence experts who have both in-depth practices and theories using plants and animals as mediums.
