The department offers specialized training in regional trade, international trade, and international management to develop international trade professionals who will lead in the globalization and information age. Students majoring in International Trade can study according to their academic interests and goals after completing the fundamentals of economics, business administration, computer science, and statistics. Students concentrating in International Economics can learn about international trade and trade practices, and students concentrating in International Commerce can specialize in one of the fields of international management, such as international trade, multinational corporations, and international marketing.

The Department of International Trade aims to develop professional and competitive human resources. Globalization, characterized by openness and liberalization, has fundamentally changed production methods and consumption patterns and has brought about a revolution in information and communication technology revolution. We require human resources that not only have the intellectual ability to adapt to the current situation but also the ability to lead the change of the times. Our students will be equipped to proactively respond to the paradigm shift brought about by globalization and the information & communication technology revolution in international trade, foreign economic relations, international business, and international management.

The Department of International Trade will meet the diverse academic and educational needs of students by combining faculty members with diverse academic backgrounds and interdisciplinary curricula. International Trade is a discipline that is based on the foundation of economics and business administration, with the field of international trade, which deals with practical contents related to foreign trade transactions, and the field of foreign regional economics, which is related to the foreign trade environment, as the superstructure.
