About the Department

We present studies that provide a broad and deep understanding of human beings and the world at the level of fundamental principles so that individuals can live their lives meaningfully. We propose basic principles for such understanding and aim to educate students to create new values for society. While balancing philosophical reflection on tradition and future, East and West, values and facts, we seek to open the horizon of philosophical historical review and thought.
