The Department of Culture & Media covers the theory and practice of Korean pop culture and the media industry as represented by Hallyu and K-culture. We cultivate content professionals who understand the global media industry trends underlying pop culture and touch the hearts of the public with their creative ideas. Our students will learn cultural and communication theories and cultivate their professional skills through a curriculum that leads to media industry analysis and content planning and production, which is the foundation of the Korean Wave, including K-pop. Additionally, the department offers bilingual courses such as drama translation and media interpretation to strengthen students' ability to exchange media content globally. Based on the strengths of Korean media education, our students can benefit from the customized education of an international school with students of many different nationalities.
