Management of Technology (MOT) is a new academic discipline that secures non-competitive advantages for companies and countries through technology and innovation. The KU Department of Management of Technology is the first to be established in Korea. It provides students with a broad understanding of the core areas of business administration to learn the issues, analysis, and methods of technology management and enables them to acquire application skills in the corporate and public sectors. The department provides world-class technology management education with the best faculty in Korea and close cooperation with renowned universities abroad. Our graduates are expected to pursue careers in various fields that combine technology and management, such as technology management, technology planning, technology strategy, and technology marketing in domestic and foreign companies, research institutes, public research organizations, government agencies, local governments, and institutions affiliated with government and local governments.

Educational Goals
This course covers management areas related to the technological innovation process in the knowledge-based society of the 21st century. Therefore, based on a broad understanding of the core fields of management, students can learn the issues, analytical frameworks, and methodologies of technology innovation management and acquire the skills to apply them in business and public organizations. We also promote education through cooperation with overseas universities, including inviting Professor William Miller of Stanford University in the United States, the founder of technology management, to provide world-class technology management education. Our graduates are expected to pursue careers in various fields that combine technology and management, such as technology management, technology planning, and technology strategy in domestic and foreign companies, research institutes, public research organizations, government agencies, local governments, and institutions affiliated with government and local governments.
