The full-semester internship program is designed for international students who are seeking internship opportunities and credit transfer in Korea at the same time. This is a joint effort between Konkuk and its contracted agencies. Students can enjoy all the facilities at Konkuk including the dormitory, library, student cafeteria, etc. The agencies are committed to job placement while Konkuk is committed to providing education programs/services.
*This program is fee-based and the participants are NOT subject to the tuition waiver
Elibigility
- Completed at least two semesters at home universities
- Able to study either in English or Korean for at least one semester (16 weeks)
- Proficiency in Korean is a plus but NOT mandatory (since all the students will be assigned to an English-speaking environment)

Job Placement
- NON-paid, experience based placements
- Up to 35 working hours per week (minimum 25 hours per week) based on the participant's circumstances
- Expected working areas (but not limited to):
- Marketing (Social media account managing, participating in business meetings)
- Market research; provide insights based on the research/analysis
- Etc: provide regional expertise based on your background
Academics / Visa
- Can take up to 12 Konkuk Credits (=24 ECTS) including 6-credit internship course
- Students can take useful and practical courses like; Korean Elementary/Intermediate, Understanding Korean Culture (2 credts each), or major-related courses
- Students will enter Korea with D-2-8 (Visiting Students Visa)
- Konkuk provides group application for the foreigner registration
