"We made this donation to support Konkuk University in its centennial year.

In response, Chairperson Yoo Ja-eun said, "Thank you for making such a big decision out of love for your alma mater and the juniors," and President Won Jong-pil said, "Your donation will be for the development of the university and will be a great help to the university.

At 3 p.m., a special lecture entitled "Conversation with Graduate" was held for Konkuk students at the Prime Hall. Chairman Seo gave an inspiring talk about building Celltrion into a leading company. The lecture was very popular.

Chairman Seo encouraged the students to "do what you love" and said, "If you do your best every day with the determination to become 'one of the best in the world' and do not give up, you will achieve your dream."

Mr. Seo took questions from students pursuing entrepreneurship. In response to a student's question about his mindset when he started Celltrion, Mr. Seo said, "I was focused on going where others didn't, going all the way, and running together with the people around me." "Have the passion to challenge yourself, but be willing to try. Don't be afraid to fail," he advises.

"You can compete with anyone in the world on an equality basis with the advent of new technologies like AI," he said. "The university is a training center where you can create lifelong skills. I hope you and the university can grow together."

Jungjin Seo, Celltrion's Chairman, is a Konkuk University graduate. He joined Samsung Electronics in 1983 and served as an expert member of the Korea Productivity Center, advisor to the planning and finance department of Daewoo Motor Company, and head of the Korea Quality Management Institute before founding Nexsol, Celltrion's predecessor.
